Sony PlayStation® Portable 3000

Yeaaaaaaah.....! God damn it....! Hell it's about time! Finally, I have managed to own my very first Sony Play Station Portable a.k.a The PSP ( ´∀`) The model that I purchased was the 3rd generation PSP 3000 also known as the PSP Brite (Brighter and Lighter).

Was searching around for UMD games in forums the night before and managed arrange some deals for the following day which is today (^ ^). John drove down all the way from Sri Kembangan to Cyberjaya to pick me up at my hostel and we head to our 1st destination which is at Giant in Puchong to collect my 1st UMD game. It was showering all cats and dogs the whole day throughout our journey but the weather needs to do better than that if mother nature wishes to stop me from getting my hands on my new baby (PSP) :p

Arrived at Puchong Giant and met with the seller who is a woman O_O" well probably dealing with me on behalf of her son or husband cause she doesn't really have that "gamers" look on her. Later on, we headed to Time Square's Sony Styles Centre to purchase the PSP itself. Apparently there is somesort of a Squash event happening at Time Square... cameras were set, red carpets were rolled out and posters of the world's top Squash stars were all over the place. The event was a match between Nicole David and one caucasian chick (Don't really know the name since I am not a fan of Squash hahah).

Head over to Sony Styles and the deal ended pretty quickly as I already knew what to get. The package that I was interested in was RM899 (console only) top-up RM50 for a Sony 4Gb Memory Stick (its a good bargain since a genuine 4Gb memory stick is going to cost around RM100 bucks lol). I was shocked to be told by the guy who was attending to me that the package is no longer available. What the fuck? It was just a night ago only I checked the official website! But luckily the dude said that they have a new offer which is RM899 for console AND a Capcom Classic UMD game PLUS a free TSHIRT which is even better! So I agreed, paid up, sign up for Sony Styles membership card and went out.

John was tempted to swipe his credit card for a PSP too after seeing me grinning happily but apparently my attempts at poisoning john... persuading him to join the dark side wasn't strong enough.... or was it his credit card wasn't accepted at Sony Styles? :p Then we head to the "Tie Shop" to purchase a silver tie for myself for the coming prom night in April....had lunch at Kenny Rogers, went to lowyat to search for PSP accessories and John's hometown family PC motherboard...dealed with another dude from lowyat forum for more UMD games and ended the day with a movie "The Watchman".

The movie was freaking long (2hours 45minutes) with unnecessary scenes... story was mediocre, nothing special and pretty boring. Not going to spoil anyone so just head down to your nearest Cinema to watch it if you have nothing better to do. Reached home, took some photos of the whole set I got and was pretty much smiling the whole day :D

Daorea Korean BBQ Restaurant

Bleh! Besides collecting gadgets and playing games, one of my greatest passion is also known to be EATING! Yes thats right, I am quite a big eater despite being a little horizontally and vertically challenge ヽ(o`皿′o)ノ Isn't that great? At least I get to eat all I want without worrying being too fat *Looks at "someone"* Oh well, enough sarcastism.... :p a couple days ago Lyn, John and I decided to try out some Korean food. Lyn suggested the Daorea Korean BBQ Restaurant, so we head to one of the branches in Puchong.

We were greated in korean the moment we entered the restaurant and was shown the way to a nice table.... we were immediately served with a glass of rice tea each (which taste good, imagine sweet rice water + tea). It took us a while to order cause we didn't know what's good and what's not. The waiter was kind enough to give us his recommendation from the menu. We ordered the specially marinated Beef, Pork, Kimchi soup, rice and a bottle of rice wine called Soju (hangul: 소주; hanja: 燒酒).

Lyn enjoying her Soju

So called "chefs" preparing the meat

Food came and oh boy it does look delicious (Gotta ♥ those chunks of tender juicy BBQ meat mwahahaha). There will be someone who actually do all the dirty work in preparing and bbq'ing those lovely meat and all we have to do is just wait and fill our hungry stomach.

John looking happy with all the lettuce and vegetables on the table

Everyone is looking reddish cause of the Soju lol (except John cause he has a natural high resistance of alchohol embedded into his DNA)

Daorea Restaurant was kind enough to give us a dish which looks sort of like a Korean omelet + pancake with mince vegetables hybrid as a complimentary snack. It taste looks weird but taste good.

Korean pizza + omelet + pancake hybrid! Why I never think of that recipe before? hmm....

The beef and pork does taste good as it has that juicy marinated flavor into it however the Kimchi soup wasn't really my type of dish (97.2% vegetables!) so yeah, we ate and drank soju which taste like concentrated vodka (kao kao) and had fun

John and I having a toast together

Lyn and I posing together with our not so alchohol resistance appearance

My drunk look lol

Toast to Lyn for introducing me the Korean Fever and being a great friend
Toast to John for being there when I need help most as well as also being a great buddy
\(^∀^)メ(^∀^)ノ

Well all in all, its quite a good experience eating Korean food but it's kind of pricy for meat and vegetables only. The bill came up was RM149.xx for average food with average taste. Nothing special that would make you crave for more unlike at certain restaurants such as Madam Kwans or Penang Hawker Food. But do give it a try, cause the experience itself is pretty good.

\(^▽^*) いらっしゃ~いっ (*^▽^)/

Oh my god! you must be wondering who the hell is this self proclaim techie that decides to open a new blog? Well hold on a minute mister (or miss or whatever title that you are holding) and do hear me out ( ̄ー ̄)

Lets kick things up by allowing me introduce myself. First I am just your typical Asian dude who is currently pursing my studies in multimedia designing & arts. I do not possess any super human abilities that gives me adamantium claws to pick a fight, get to scream "Yatta" after time travel or even having X-Ray visions to check out on girls... so yeah... sorry to disappoint you :p

So, what's with the new blog about then? Hmm... lets see... this blog is all about reviews and personal thoughts on gadgets and stuffs like that. It's going to be my personal review so there won't be any review on a particular thing till I manage to get my hands on one of them or at least get an opportunity to test it from someone/somewhere else. This blog would also provide some sneak peak into my personal life, the activities or events that I am involved with, rants bla bla bla yada yada etc.

I promise to deliver good unbiased reviews and interesting contents and hopefully the readers would enjoy a good reading experience as well as sharing their thoughts plus being part of my life (without actually knowing me personally)... and yeah I am just starting and mistakes might happen every once in a while but I am willing to learn if you people out there (yeah YOU!) are willing to give me a chance to do so (^ _ ^)

Until then, thank you so much and "Irasshai" to my blog! (it's welcome in Japanese). Hope you have fun and enjoy your stay ( ̄ー ̄)ニヤリ
